The Sacred Alliance believes that Jesus Christ reconciles and restores the broken relationships between women and men and between diverse communities. As people who are redeemed by Jesus Christ and indwelled by the Holy Spirit, we are called to the ministry of reconciliation and equipped to work for transformation in churches and communities.

The Sacred Alliance believes that Kingdom work is most effective when women and men co-labor in Mutual Ministry. We believe that God calls individuals to ministry leadership according to their unique gifting, not according to their gender. To learn more about the biblical and theological foundations for this belief, check out our resource pages.

The Sacred Alliance believes that ministries should reflect and work toward Kingdom Diversity. We believe God calls all Christians to work for the justice and equity that is possible because of Christ’s reconciling work.

The Sacred Alliance is a subsidiary of Wesley Seminary and affirms the Articles of Religion of The Wesleyan Church.
